Rev. Dr. Paul "Chip" Jahn has been the pastor at both St. Peter and
Trinity United Church of Christ since 1979. Rev. Jahn received a Master of Divinity in 1979 and a Doctor of
Ministry in 1996, both from Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis.
He and
his wife, Gayle Morley Jahn grew up in Webster Groves, MO where they met
and started dating. They were married in 1975. All four of their children
were born in Spencer County: Caroline (1979), Paul (1982), Muriel
(1984) and Marie (1989).

"God's love for us, demonstrated most profoundly in the life,
death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, is absurd by the world's
standards. But in that absurdity is our hope and future. I have seen that
sacrificial love burrow into the hearts of ordinary people causing them to
respond in extraordinary ways. As I have seen it, I know that Jesus was
raised and trust he will come again." |
